About our group:

Our group at Seagate is responsible for delivering state of the art SoCs , which are components in various Seagate storage products ranging from HDDs, SSDs and Storage Systems. Our engineering expertise range from defining design specifications, Systems Engineering, Digital Design and Verification, Physical Design, Analog Mixed-signal design, SoC package design and test engineering

About the role - you will:
  • You will be designing custom physical layouts for various analog and custom digital designs in latest CMOS process technologies.
  • Work closely with Analog designers, CAD and P&R engineers to build large subsystems.
  • Work on mask layout updates and ECOs
About you:
  • Should be proficient in various Analog layout concepts like matching, shielding and Electro-Migration, Power and ground planning
  • Having experience with latest FinFet technologies like 16nm,12nm,10m, or 7nm is a plus
  • Should be proficient in using various verification checks like LVS, DCR and ERC with industry standard tools like Calibre or ICV
  • Should be able to work collaboratively with Design Engineers to meet product schedules
Your experience includes:
  • Education or equivalent experiencein electrical/Computer Engineeringwith Mask Layout experience
  • Experience in Custom Analog Layout in deep sub-micron CMOS circuits with industry standard tools like Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsis Custom Designer/Laker or Tanner tools
