SUMMARY
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program built around peer-led group student study/review sessions. It is a nontraditional form of tutoring that focuses on assisting students in undertaking "traditionally difficult" courses. The Supplemental Instruction Leader is a student who has demonstrated competence in the targeted courses and can facilitate the SI program study sessions after mandatory training. Targeted courses areElementary Spanish, Enhanced Quantitative Literacy, Quantitative Literacy, General Psychology, and other Science and Mathematics courses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must:1) The student must be a sophomore, junior, or senior2) The student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale 3) A grade of a B or better in one of the targeted courses.4) Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
