Identify evidence-based interventions that use appropriate theory of change models, such as the Social Cognitive Theory, and involve multiple levels of the Social Ecological Model:
*Responsible for keeping up to date on SNAP-Ed PSE approaches in other states and FNS recommendations to provide current tools for county programming. Work with county agents to pilot interventions as needed. Research intervention options as requested by agents.

Assist County agents with planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainability of PSE approaches within SNAP-Ed, via group and individual training and technical assistance:
*Plan and deliver regularly scheduled electronic, webinar, and in-person training.
*Provide daily technical assistance to county and state-level staff.
*Create resource guides, toolkits, and other implementation resources to guide agents in development, implementation, and evaluation of PSE strategies.
*Meet with agents and partners/stakeholders as needed to assist with PSE implementation, evaluation, and maintenance.

Write annual plans of work, including the logic model for PSE approaches, and prepare reports to meet state and federal requirements:
*Works closely with Nutrition Specialist, SNAP-Ed Program Manager, and SNAP-Ed Financial Manager to write annual plan sections related to PSE approaches for submission to USDA/FNS for continued funding.
*Provide training and support to SNAP-Ed state staff on PSE as needed.

Management of PSE Modules in PEARS:
*Monitors county reporting of PSE approaches in PEARS. Works with agents to ensure information is reported accurately in multi-year tracking of PSE interventions. Assists agents with corrections as needed.
*Develops written and video training and resource guides for PEARS related to PSE reporting modules.
*Compiles quantitative and qualitative data from PEARS and other reporting tools to prepare periodic and annual reports to UADA leadership, DHS, FNS, and other stakeholders related to PSE implementation.
*Works with SNAP-Ed team to complete annual review of PEARS setting and reporting options to ensure compliance with regulations and changes to program design. Updates training materials for PSE modules as needed based on changes to PEARS set-up.
*Serve on PEARS Dashboard workgroup, general PEARS workgroup, and PEARS PSE workgroup.

Attend webinars and conferences as needed to expand knowledge and resources for SNAP-Ed programming. Collaborate with community partners and state-level coalitions related to obesity prevention and other nutrition/food security issues:
*Actively participate on state-level coalitions, such as the Arkansas Farm to School Collaborative, Healthy Active Arkansas, and the Arkansas Coalition on Obesity Prevention, to implement PSE approaches across multiple levels of the socio-ecological model.
*When possible, provide training at relevant regional and state-level conferences (such as the ArCOP Summit or School Health Conference) to promote the SNAP-Ed program and to encourage expansion of SNAP-Ed PSE approaches.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Health Promotion, Health Policy, or a closely related field plus a minimum of three years of relevant professional work experience or a Master's degree in Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Health Promotion, Health Policy, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Health Promotion, Health Policy, or closely related field. Experience with implementation of public health approaches to community health or nutrition is strongly desired. The ability to plan and implement health strategies to prevent obesity and chronic disease is strongly desired.
