TITLE: Service Technician
LOCATION: Houston, TX
POSITION REPORTS TO: Tank Dept Manager
SCHEDULE: TBD by manager. Some overtime and weekends will be required.
WAGES: Commensurate with experience and skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Repair 12v and 110v fuel pumps
* Repair/Replace tank monitoring systems
* Repair/Replace Fuel Management Systems
* Assist with Tank Farm-Fuel Island installation
* Service other pump related equipment (meters, nozzles, hoses, etc.)
* Respond and handle customer issues
* Other related tasks and projects as assigned by manager
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Locals only (must live within 60 miles)
* Valid driver's license and a good driving record
* Experience working with industrial pumps, meters, and motors
* Ability to interact with and develop good working relationships with technical and administrative staff
* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel programs
* Strong attention to detail
* Stable past employment history
* Good attendance record
* Honesty and a good work ethic
* Ability to get along with others and work well in a team environment
* Ability to work weekends and travel
* Courteous and friendly nature when dealing with customers
* Experience communicating with customers on job related activities
* Ability to complete paperwork effectively, efficiently and accurately
PREFERRED
* Experience working with fuel equipment
* Service experience in the trucking industry
* Electrical background
* Experience with piping installation
* Experience with Gasboy Dispensers/Suction pumps
* OPW Certification
* Integra 500 Certification
* OPW FIT 500 Cardlock Systems
