Phillips-Medisize, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Maumelle, Arkansas manufacturing facility. The position will lead the development of molding operations and assembly lines from conceptualization through all stages (equipment procurement, installation, process development and validation of molding and automation) in clinical builds.

What You Will Do

  • Work with the larger, cross-functional team to develop the process flow and pFMEA for the assembly process
  • Manage assembly equipment procurement to ensure equipment design challenges are addressed and milestone dates are met
  • Provide FAT leadership at equipment vendor locations, working directly with equipment vendors and the Phillips-Medisize team to ensure equipment meets all specifications, document URS or performance gaps and manage vendor's contingency plans, to ensure resolution of possible issues before acceptance of equipment
  • Manage equipment installation at the PMC facility including SAT, Process Development & IQ/OQ/PQ, to include hands-on work with equipment to setup and trouble shoot processes during development
  • Create OPWI and setup work instructions for maintenance technicians and calibration departments to be able to operate and maintain equipment
  • Interface with customers on a regular basis through project reporting
  • Travel to vendors, customers or other Phillips-Medisize facilities as needed to support business needs
  • Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, manage to establish yield and throughput, and drive for cost reduction and optimal quality
  • Coordinate, direct and lead engineering efforts to ensure optimum engineering of projects/programs to meet customer and manufacturing requirements
  • Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental and ergonomics efforts



Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering OR 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
  • Demonstrated experience using CAD to determine if tooling, equipment, and part designs meet requirements


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Engineering experience in medical manufacturing industry
  • Strong and diverse technical injection automation, molding tooling, materials, manufacturing, quality and product design skills
  • Experience in quoting design, tools/equipment and parts
