Job Description

As a Maintenance Reliability Engineerfor our Little Rock, AR manufacturing plant, you will originate and develop analysis methods for determining reliability of components, equipment, and process for our facility. You will acquire data and analyze for reliability, maintainability, and spare parts requirements. You will prepare technical data for defining reliability improvements and investigate to determine the reliability required for the situation considering the cost limitations for equipment up time, down time, repair and replacement costs, and availability of materials & equipment. You will also help determine the cost advantage of alternatives while developing action plans to comply with internal and external customer demands for processes and equipment reliability. You will provide life cycle alternatives to determine the optimum cost advantages for existing, replacement and new project equipment and prepare PM's & PdM's based on Manufacturers recommendations and adjust PM Program requirements based on Reliability Data. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works under general direction from Maintenance Manager for performing detailed reliability engineering and develop PM and PdM schedules.
  • Develop and Presents data, KPI's, recommendations and improvement plans.
  • Work with internal/external personnel to assemble necessary expertise to provide reliability and cost data.
  • Analyze CMMS system (Micromain and SAP) data to identify reliability opportunities and support data.
  • Attend and perform Root Cause Analysis investigations. Initiate Work Orders and track corrective actions to ensure corrections in a timely manner.
  • Facilitates root cause failure analysis to help prevent recurring failures.
  • Provides technical expertise to reduce breakdown reoccurrences to optimize machine availability. Performs Special assigned Maintenance Projects to include handling contractors onsite called in through the Maintenance Department.
  • Manages equipment change events and small projects to deliver new SOP's, as well as risk and hazard assessments.
  • Researches and recommends solutions for the impact of costs on action plans for avoiding/correcting problems on installed equipment.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics) with three to five years experience in reliability, maintenance, Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Or equivalent technical experience developed through maintenance career path with ten + years proven experience.
  • Experience improving reliability in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) systems.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience with Reliability programs and calculations.
