Summary of Job Duties:The Food Prep Technician is responsible for overseeing the kitchen and food service for the Kids First clinic in Springdale, AR.Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Candidate must pass state abuse registry checks, drug screen, submit to a TB skin test and required immunizations or provide proof of immunizations.
  • Preferred 6 months food service experience


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Accepts delivery from food supplier.
  • Checks that all menu items are received and food item amounts are sufficient and meet appropriate temperatures.
  • Reports immediately to the Clinic Director if any items of food or amount of food is in error. Inventories and stores food items appropriately and according to regulations.
  • Prepares breakfast, lunch, and snack containers by dividing proper amounts of menu items according to numbers of children reported in each treatment room and delivers at designated mealtimes. Assures that special diets are prepared as ordered and sent to the proper room.
  • Operates dishwasher, cleans containers, and empties garbage.
  • Keeps a running inventory of food and supply items in pantry and notifies Clinic Director of items to be ordered including formula, baby food, and paper supplies. Completes daily lunch count.
  • Cleans the kitchen and pantry shelving area. Washes appliances, counters, and preparation areas. Assures that kitchen is kept clean and in an orderly fashion.
  • Follows Health Department, KIDS FIRST, CAFCP, and clinic regulations as they apply to the kitchen and food service.
  • Completes documentation related to these standards timely and accurately.
  • May be assigned other duties as needed to meet the needs of the Kids First clinic

$31,200
