Summary of Job Duties:The Online Campus Liaison supports stakeholders in the online degree attainment process, including prospective students, students, online program coordinators and advisors, and UA Little Rock student support service providers, including eLearning. The position reports to the Director of Online Learning, but is required to respond to the Online Program Coordinator for day-to-day direction and other duties as assigned. This position is governed by state and federal laws as well as agency and institutional policy.Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Business, or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of applicable experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Retention

  • Serve as Online Campus recruiter at University and external events;

  • Maintain student communication and information to support Online Campus enrollment through the University's applicant tracking tool and other methods;

  • Serve as an advocate for and liaison between online students, online program coordinators and advisors, eLearning, Admissions, and other UA Little Rock offices to resolve concerns and seamlessly matriculate students;

  • Collaborate with the Online Program Coordinator and stakeholders to develop marketing materials including print and social media;

  • Explore and identify opportunities and partnerships that will support enrollment and retention in online programs.

Stakeholder Communication, Engagement, and Support

  • Serve as point of contact for eLearning and Online Campus;

  • Develop and maintain a schedule for frequent communication with online program coordinators and advisors;

  • Serve as co-chair of the Online Campus Advisory Board;

  • Represent eLearning and UA Little Rock in assigned meetings and activities;

  • Maintain detailed notes of interactions with stakeholders and provide clear reports via email to the Online Campus Coordinator;

  • Maintain detailed project and task management reports utilizing the office's preferred technologies;

  • Maintain accurate records of prospective online student information.

  • Create, review, analyze, and troubleshoot special data and reports upon request or routinely;

  • Assist in the maintenance of websites and supporting materials;

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge: Demonstrate a general knowledge of higher education, academic programs, and student service units; working knowledge of UA Little Rock systems and services;

  • Multi-Task: Work simultaneously with multiple constituent demands and projects;

  • Organize: Must demonstrate exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities in accomplishing tasks;

  • Professional: Display a fitting and approachable attitude while properly representing UA Little Rock;

  • Technology: Intermediate experience in productivity tools, email, Internet platforms, and basic technologies; Intermediate experience with database management, analysis, and reporting; Working knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred), customer relationship management software, social media tools and best practices, WordPress and web content management systems, writing and editing for the web. (Intermediate experience is preferred.);

  • Team player: Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team;

  • Timely: Ability to prioritize issues and work within deadlines in a dynamic and changing environment;

  • Vehicle Operation: Possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
