Job Description
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment and pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle customer transactions, issuing receipts, refunds, and pick lists
  • Field phone calls and take messages, delivering them to the correct departments
  • Resolve customer inquiries, guide them, and provide relevant information
  • Maintain showroom inventory and keep the showroom clean
  • Prepare nightly deposit and ensure the accurate account of money at the location
  • Clerical and administrative functions as a part of the daily operation
  • Answering incoming customer phone calls
  • Scanning/Uploading daily job folders and daily credit folders
  • Set up new customers on the computer, verifying tax exemptions and deposits
  • Review invoices for proper pricing, quantities and payment terms
  • Communicate with customers to collect cash owed
  • Respond to customers regarding payment matters
  • Research and respond to internal requests on customer activity
  • Apply customer payments to accounts receivable
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice issues with customer
  • Responsible for reconciliation of petty cash and cash box
  • Prepare customer returns and submit to share drive
  • Prepare expense Purchase Orders and submit for approval
  • Performs other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree
  • 3 Years' experience as a retail cashier or with sales
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS system
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of Software preferred
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention and care required to prevent errors
  • Ability to work with the public daily
