Division: CPD Operations

Reports To: Director- Warehouse

What You Will Learn:

To lead warehouse personnel and activities to ensure efficiency and safety within the established quality and material movement standards.

  • Lead warehouse operations to include the receipt, storage, distribution, inventory, inbound trailer utilization and shipment of materials, as well as the accurate documentation of data entry done in support of these functions.
  • Lead and train staff in methods and procedures that maximize the efficient operation and application of material movement.
  • Ensure that operational procedures are developed and followed by department personnel.
  • Ensure the accuracy entry of data, proper documentation, and correct inventory activities.
  • Ensure the prompt shipment of finished goods.
  • Must interact with multiple departments to achieve the objectives set forth by Operations Management.
  • Lead warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain proper level of order and housekeeping in the warehouse area.
  • Adhere and enforce all company policies within the department among all department members.
  • Adhere and enforce departmental policies including safety, quality, housekeeping, PPE and other SOP's.
  • Assure safe and efficient operation for all warehouse material handlers and Fleet Drivers.
  • Monitor, maintain and assure excellent quality of all warehouse inventory.
  • Notify and follow-up to completion of technical problems related to warehouse equipment and systems.
  • Maintain staff related records including training, absenteeism disciplinary actions records, etc.
  • Responsible for dealing with employee relations issues as well as producing yearly performance evaluations for all of his/her direct reports.
  • Monitor and update departmental performance measurement data.
  • Manage daily schedule for the workforce for efficient coverage.
  • Manage and implement L'Oreal policies and practices including, but not limited to, the Corporation's EEO policy and applicable safety and health procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work area and implement L'Oreal's environmental programs.
  • Manage and implement all L'Oreal policies and practices including, but not limited to, the Corporations Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, Etc.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with post-secondary training or technical school or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing operations
  • Must be able to observe Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
  • Must obtain L'Oreal forklift certification.
  • Occasionally lift up to 40lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in major technical discipline
