Position Summary

The job of a recruiting intern at Simmons Bank is to support our recruiters as they use a variety of creative methods and tools to actively attract top candidates for our job openings. You will help our recruiters by attracting candidates on recruiting sites such as Indeed and LinkedIn, referral programs, college recruiting, and various recruiting events. The position will also assist with updating candidate records in Workday, prescreening candidates, preparing offer letters, and kicking off onboarding activities. The right person will be upbeat, creative, a strong communicator, organized, goal oriented and persuasive. If this sounds like you, let's talk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist recruiters with screening candidates for jobs by reviewing candidate resumes, conducting phone and video screening calls
  • Help promote job openings and actively source candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed and Handshake
  • Assist recruiters in updating records in the Workday HR system
  • Assist with offer letter preparation, event planning, and on-boarding activities
  • Maintain confidentiality in all business practices
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and project management skills
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, fast learner, team player
  • An interest in working at Simmons Bank
