Responsibilities:

• Ongoing communication between the department and affiliated clinical sites.
• Communicates and oversees Clinical Coordinators of Clinical Education (CCCEs)
• and Clinical Instructors (CIs) to monitor and assess student clinical performance.
• Provides guidance and support as required to problem solve and discuss
• pertinent issues with students, CIs and/or CCCEs.
• Place, supervise, and communicate with students while on clinical experiences
• Evaluates each clinical education site through student feedback, on-site visits,
• and ongoing communications.
• Provides feedback to clinical educators concerning their effectiveness in
• delivering clinical learning experiences based on student feedback and through
• direct observations.
• Documents in EXXAT the academic performance of students to ensure that they successfully achieve the criteria for completing clinical learning experiences.
