Summary of Job Duties:The People and Cultural Partner, often referred to as a human resources business partner (HRBP), plays a crucial role in aligning human resources strategy with organizational goals. The People & Culture Partner is responsible for partnering with supervisors, managers and leaders to ensure strategic priorities are aligned with people and culture initiatives. The position develops effective relationships, provides sound guidance and value-added solutions that contribute to enterprise growth and success and result in employee satisfaction and retention.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Applied Communication, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field of study PLUS Five (5) years of demonstrated accomplishment in human resource or operational disciplines, preferably including compensation practices, workforce planning, forecasting & budgeting, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, operational efficiency, performance management, employee engagement, and respective federal and state employment laws. Experience in an Academic Medical Center setting is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.
  • Three (3) years of demonstrated accomplishment in human resource or operational disciplines, preferably including compensation practices, workforce planning, forecasting & budgeting, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, operational efficiency, performance management, employee engagement, and respective federal and state employment laws.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Partners with the Employee Relations and Legal Department as needed.
  • Offers day-to-day performance management guidance to line management in coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Conducts meetings as needed with respective business unit leaders to help lead human capital. Analyzes trends and metrics (turnover, vacancy rates, and cost per hire) in partnership with the Office of Human Resources' Centers of excellence to drive organizational capability and human capital readiness. Designs and implements core HR team process documents for daily work. Provides hands-on leadership, encompassing both strategies and tactics, to enable talent and workforce management plans, organization and people effectiveness objectives, and the effective implementation of the full human resources management portfolio for an assigned client group. May provide business unit with balanced scorecards, strategy maps, change management, and execution of HR programs.


Salary Information:

$82,800.00
