Program Controls Manager REMOTE
With Garver's continued growth and commitment to providing reputable service to our clients, we are seeking aProgram Controls Managerto oversee large-scale project scheduling, cost, reporting, and overall coordination. This role will collaborate with other high-performing members of the GarverEnterprise Solutions Team, clients, sub-consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Implement the use of project controls best practices using effective change management.
  • Leading business process improvement efforts.
  • Coordinating the preparation and maintenance of project schedules using a variety of scheduling software e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.
  • Coordinating and resolving long- and short-term planning and scheduling problems with personnel on project teams and contractors.
  • Analyzing critical paths and restraints to determine effect of changes on the schedule and recommending workarounds to mitigate impacts.
  • Analyzing schedule progress and performance and identifying developing problem areas.
  • Assisting in technical evaluation of contracts relative to expertise in planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinating the development, tracking, and reporting of project/program cost estimates including risk reviews, and application of contingency and inflation.
  • Coordinating the development of various forms of project/program reporting.
  • Organize and lead meetings with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferablyin Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 10 or moreyears' of relevant experience across a variety of project types e.g. large-scale infrastructure, highways, buildings etc.
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing project controls on a variety of engagements from large-scale projects and programs to smaller efforts.
