Moog Space and Defense Group is looking for an FPGA Design Engineer in East Aurora, NY. Moog's Space and Defense Group is the premier motion and flow control solutions provider for the following markets: satellites, human-rated space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, Military ground vehicles, Naval vessels, and security and surveillance. This is an onsite position focused on the WNY Defense Electrical Group reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering with relevant FPGA/VHDL coursework completed
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of VHDL and ModelSim simulator
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink
• Proficient with simulation, testing and debugging tools and techniques
• Familiarity with logic analyzers, digital oscilloscope, etc.
• Knowledge of interface and network protocols is a plus (ie SPI, I2C, RS-422, RS-485)

• Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports

Salary:

• The base pay range for this opportunity is $80,000 - $115,000 per year.

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
